Introducing Jayci of Salon Chop. Jayci is the proud owner of the new gorgeous salon located in Winkler, Manitoba. You may recognize her from a wedding shoot we featured in August, she was a stunning bride!

Jayci helped us out with styling Meg’s hair for the Best Friends photo shoot in July. Jack and Ruby are all about wanting to make our clients feel beautiful and we highly recommend visiting a professional hair stylist before any photo session! Weddings aren’t the only time a girl deserves to be pampered, engagement sessions are an excellent opportunity to go and get your hair done to look camera ready. We asked Jayci a couple of Jack and Ruby questions so you can get to know her better… here’s what she had to say:

What’s your favorite thing in your closet?
Well if you havent seen my closet….it is a whole bedroom, so i’d had to say my favorite thing in my closet would have to be my closet..all the clothes are just a bonus feature lol!! haha oh, and my wedding dress.

When you’re not working, what’s your favorite way to spend a weekend?
With my hubby shopping, or going for a little getaway to the states, always a goodtime.

What’s your favorite indulgence?
Definatly dairy queen-cookie dough blizzards-sooo good!

What’s your favorite movie?

Umm…well I have many but I still like the old school movies best, sixteen candles and ferris buhlers day off, I could watch it over and over!!! OH and GREASE!

What’s your favorite part of your job?
I love having the opportunity to transform someone into a “new” person. When someone comes in feeling like they have the worst hair, and leave feeling like they have the best… cuz of me. It’s awesome seeing that sparkle in someones eye when they feel so good about themselves. That’s definatly an amazing feeling. It always makes my day, making their day!! ♥
