She Said Yes… Ike & Kristen
It all started on the golf course. Ike was out for a round and Kristen was selling refreshments. He snuck her his number on his napkin and within a week they had had their first date. Not even two years later they are busy planning their June wedding. Ike and Kristen are a breath of fresh air. They are sweet and silly with each other, not taking life too seriously. We love a couple that can goof around and have fun AND be romantic at the same time!
Another thing we love about Ike and Kristen is they totally trusted us and our vision for their engagement session. They gave us a bit of an idea of what type of feel they were looking for, arrived in Ikes dads old truck and were ready and willing to follow us where we led. As portrait photographers we are constantly viewing the world around us with one thing in mind; what will make a good back drop. So when Ike and Kristen gave us the feedom to choose locations for their session we were happy to have the chance! Special thanks to Lori for allowing us to use their old store and to Ike’s sister in law and our friend Sonya for finding the awesome chicken coops that we didn’t have time for at her wedding.
Kristen is working with our very favourite make-up artist Tracy for the wedding and she decided to have Tracy do her make-up for the engagement session too! What’s better than a little pampering before a photoshoot!?
