As girls, we dream and dream about our wedding day right up until the very moment it happens and Kristin was no different.  She dreamt about her engagement one day and the perfect wedding day plans – she was just patiently waiting for the right man to come along to sweep her off her feet.  That man was Joe (who just so happened to be her BFF’s cousin….so now two girls who dreamt of being family are technically now family!).  Joe and Kristin are a perfect match, both kind and ever so happy people who are always looking out for those around them.  I think the size of their wedding was a great indication at how loved the two of them are, the room was FULL of people who love and support them!

Charles Swindoll wrote on attitude saying:  “We have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.”  Kristin is one of those people who always chooses to live with a positive attitude.  On her wedding day when faced with the most gloomy forecast Kristin chose to be happy and have a great day!  We received a Facebook message from her BFF Lindsay the morning of the wedding that said “Kristin’s happy even if it rains, rain is good luck”.  Always looking on the bright side, even on a cloudy day!  And what do you know, her positive attitude paid off and that dismal forecast did not produce one drop of rain during the photo time!

Speaking of photo time, we had a blast with the wedding party! They were so excited about all the locations we chose, everyone was super relaxed and most importantly everyone was SO excited for Kristin and Joe!!  We had so much fun during photos that we didn’t even notice the dark storms brewing around us!  Kristin called her mom to tell her we were on our way to one final spot when her mom informed her there were funnel clouds spotted all over Winnipeg….I think we were happier in the dark about the storms, that way there was nothing else on our minds besides celebrating Kristin and Joe!
